Lars Junker Thiesgaard (born 7 March 1959 in Gråsten) trained as an actor at Odense Theatre in 1983 and has since built a career as Denmark's most prolific voice actor and dubbing director. Credited with over 700 roles - including Pumbaa in The Lion King, Piglet in Winnie the Pooh, Yoda, Scooby-Doo and the Joker - he is the person who has dubbed more characters in Denmark than anyone else. He also directed the Danish dialogue for virtually all Disney and Pixar releases from the early 1990s onwards; Disney's Los Angeles headquarters named his version of The Lion King the best in the world. He now tours Denmark with his live show 'Manden med de 1000 stemmer'.
