Halfdan's ABC (ages 4-7)

Halfdan's ABC puppet theatre: Saturday 17 October 2026, 12:00–12:40, Husum Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Teater AstaBasta presents "Halfdan's ABC" - a musical puppet theatre based on Halfdan Rasmussen's beloved children's nursery rhyme book. The performance features puppets, singing and music as the alphabet is explored rhyme by rhyme.

On stage, Karina Nielsen performs as narrator, puppeteer and singer, while Jesper Andersson plays all instruments.

Free tickets are available via the ticket link. The performance takes place in the Event Room on the 2nd floor.

The performance is part of the festival "Theatre Magic in the Autumn Break" (week 42), which presents performing arts at cultural centres, libraries and theatres around Copenhagen - this year in Østerbro, Vesterbro, Amager, Nørrebro, Vanløse, Valby, Indre By, Brønshøj-Husum, Sydhavnen and Bispebjerg. The festival is supported by the Augustinus Foundation and Copenhagen's Performing Arts Committee. See the full festival programme at https://brugbyen.kk.dk/det-sker/teatermagi
