Concert with Peter Vesth & Kristian Rusbjerg

Peter Vesth & Kristian Rusbjerg - country and folk: Sunday 2 May 2027, 15:00–17:30, Kulturcaféen i Helsinge, Helsinge. Tickets cost 265–415 kr.

Peter Vesth is perhaps best known for the song "Veras Vinterven" and from many summers on Bornholm, where he and his brother Torkild were a fixture in the island's musical life. With guitar in hand and entertaining anecdotes, he performs his own songs - and after nearly 500 compositions and several recording trips to Nashville, Tennessee, he has developed a playing style that in the USA would be called Country and Folk.

For the concert, he is accompanied by Kristian Rusbjerg, who for 20 years has played harmonica across genres ranging from folk music and traditional songs to jazz, Argentine tango, Tyrolean and rock music. Kristian performs regularly at Sommersang in Mariehaven in Ansager and is frequently seen on TV with various musicians, including Peter Vesth.

Before the concert, there is an opportunity to eat: Kulturcaféen serves an open-faced sandwich buffet with dessert from 1 p.m. The concert starts at 3 p.m.
