Madness in Literature #2: Leon Engler: The Botany of Madness

The second meeting of the reading circle 'Madness in Literature' focuses on German author Leon Engler's debut novel from 2025, The Botany of Madness, which has received critical acclaim. The novel follows a young man attempting to map his family's legacy of mental illness - both through the book's narrative and through his daily work as a psychologist at a psychiatric hospital in Vienna.

No professional background is required to participate - the only requirement is an interest in discussing the book and sharing reading experiences. The group is limited to 10 people, ensuring space for all voices.
