Writing Workshop at Dokk1 - Text in Time — Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus

The writing workshop is led by P.C. (Poul Christian) Asmussen, author and performer. Every Monday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, he opens a space where participants write, read aloud, and comment on each other's texts.

The workshop begins with a brief prompt - such as "I remember...", "The best/worst..." or "Spring" - as a starting point for ten minutes of free writing. Afterwards, we comment on the texts with curious eyes and ears. Text and author are kept separate: it is always the written work that is commented on - never the person behind it. All text forms are welcome, from fantasy and science fiction to poetry, diary entries, and pop songs.

There are no requirements and no judgments. You spell as you like, and write in whatever language you choose. No prior experience is necessary, and you decide for yourself what you share.

Local information is posted on the bulletin board to the left of the information desk at Dokk1. Bring your own coffee or tea. No registration required - just show up.
