Book Tourist is a book talk format at the Children's Library where facilitators staff different booths and help students find new books across genres and themes - from action, space rockets and cats to love stories in a zombie universe.

Each child receives a travel passport and uses it to navigate between the booths, where they collect book covers. They take the covers home as a personal reading inspiration list.

The event is sold out.

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek

Horsens Bibliotek is the municipality's three-floor main library, housed in Tobaksgården. Alongside its book and media collections it offers study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café. The programme includes film screenings, author evenings, reading clubs and a repair café, and the library organises the annual Crime Fair held at FÆNGSLET. A local history collection on the second floor covers Horsens and the surrounding area.
