Maren Uthaug has received the Golden Laurels award for her novel 11% and won the Mofibo Award for Novel of the Year twice in a row - first for 11%, then for 88%. Both books have caused a stir in the press, sparked angry messages in her inbox, and drawn long queues at book signings. Information justified its review of 11% with the words: "Literature doesn't get much wilder."

The event takes place in Salen and offers an evening of suspense and reflection for everyone interested in powerful literature and thought-provoking stories.

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN

Horsens Bibliotek i MIDTEN is the city's new civic hub, opening on 30 November 2026 in the former town hall on Rådhustorvet. Alongside the library, the building brings together the citizen services centre, the Sund By health unit and the Centre for Communication and Technology - the municipality occupies roughly half of the building's approximately 15,000 square metres. The name MIDTEN reflects the ambition to create an open, communal gathering place at the centre of Horsens.
