In this crime workshop, participants learn to devise crimes and write thrilling stories about things that should never happen in real life - and get away with it.

The workshop is led by children's author Andreas Boeskov, creator of the crime series Shadow Detectives. Book number 3 in the series is released in October 2026.

Preparation: Read Shadow Detectives in class, or have an excerpt read aloud.

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek

Horsens Bibliotek is the municipality's three-floor main library, housed in Tobaksgården. Alongside its book and media collections it offers study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café. The programme includes film screenings, author evenings, reading clubs and a repair café, and the library organises the annual Crime Fair held at FÆNGSLET. A local history collection on the second floor covers Horsens and the surrounding area.
