Workshop: Writing and Football with Carl-Christian Okking: Tuesday 20 October 2026, 11:15–12:15, Horsens Bibliotek, Horsens. Admission is free.

Why can creative writing feel just as physical as playing football? In this workshop with Carl-Christian Okking, we write with our bodies - from the garden and down.

We explore how the intuition you know from the football pitch can be transferred to the text, so it hits the reader in the gut. Through exercises and experiments, it's about switching off your head and letting your body take over.

Venue: The Hall

About the venue: Horsens Bibliotek

Horsens Bibliotek is the municipality's three-floor main library, housed in Tobaksgården. Alongside its book and media collections it offers study spaces, meeting rooms, a children's section and a café. The programme includes film screenings, author evenings, reading clubs and a repair café, and the library organises the annual Crime Fair held at FÆNGSLET. A local history collection on the second floor covers Horsens and the surrounding area.
