Biologist and foraging expert Klara Rask from Vilde Råvarer guides a mushroom tour in Gribskov - one of Denmark's most mushroom-rich forests, resembling Sweden in both appearance and species diversity. Along the way, you may encounter edible varieties such as chanterelles, funnel chanterelles, porcini, and other culinary mushrooms.

The tour begins with an introduction and continues as a forest walk, where Klara shares information about identifying features, habitats, lookalikes, and preparation methods for the mushrooms you find - both edible, inedible, and poisonous species. The tour lasts 2-3 hours and ends at the same location where it starts.

Bring practical footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, a mushroom basket, and a small sharp knife. Children aged 5-13 are welcome with a child ticket for 100 DKK. The tour is not suitable for strollers.

The mushroom tour is a course designed primarily to equip participants with better skills for future foraging trips. There are always mushrooms to find, but no guarantee of a full basket. In case of severe drought during the period, the tour may be cancelled or rescheduled to another date with the option of a refund (excluding fees).
