On 28 October, Studenterjazz presents a concert in the study café at Studenterhus Aarhus featuring Nikolaj Bangsgaard US Trio - an acoustic, intimate format where the audience sits close to the musicians.

Nikolaj Bangsgaard spent three years in New York before returning to Copenhagen in summer 2025. He has won the Bucharest International Jazz Competition and received numerous awards and grants. He is now releasing music under his own name for the first time: the album "Crosshatch", whose compositions were largely written during his time in New York. He is joined by saxophonist David Truilo and bassist Jasper Grigsby-Schulte - both from the New York jazz scene.

Jasper Grigsby-Schulte - double bass (US)
