Sunday
"Sunday" is a children's theatre performance for ages 4-8, based on a story by Kim Fupz Aakeson. It follows Torsten as he grapples with a big question: will there still be room for him in his family's heart when a new baby arrives?
Torsten's mother is expecting a baby, and his best friend Willy has a theory: his parents must not think he's cute enough anymore and don't love him as much. Over the course of a week, Torsten searches for answers. Should he become cuter? Clean his room? Or does he need to understand something deeper about how love actually works?
The production brings the story to life through puppets both large and small, light projections, and storytelling in a richly visual theatrical language. The performance has been praised for its warm, heartfelt approach to a universal childhood experience - becoming a big brother or sister - told with precise narrative technique, focused staging, and detailed puppet work.
