Create Your Own Street Art - Stencil Workshop with Freespace

Stencil Workshop with Freespace: Saturday 28 November 2026, 13:00–14:30, Københavns Museum, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 150 kr.

As part of the exhibition "What Are You So Busy For?", Freespace is hosting a stencil workshop where you design, cut, and use your own stencils - from initial sketch to finished print on paper or a tote bag. Stencil is a technique where a motif is cut out of cardboard or plastic and then transferred onto a surface with spray or brush, allowing it to be repeated again and again. The method is known from street artists such as Banksy.

During the workshop, you will be introduced to street art and stencil as a technique, receive an overview of materials and methods, work with a sketch of your motif, and transfer it to your chosen surface.

The workshop is for participants aged 12 and over - adults are also welcome. It takes place on Saturday, 28 November from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the basement of Copenhagen Museum, Stormgade 18. The price is 150 kr., and admission to the museum is included.
