Coffee Cups and Doodles · Varde Bibliotek, Varde

Coffee Cups and Doodles - creative workshop: Thursday 22 October 2026, 19:00–20:30, Varde Bibliotek, Varde. Tickets cost 20 kr.

Varde Library will soon serve coffee and tea in reusable cups instead of disposable ones - and at this event you can decorate your own. Porcelain markers are ready, and each registered participant receives one recycled porcelain cup to decorate. Name, quote, motif, or something completely different - you decide.

While the cups are being decorated, a librarian reads a couple of stories aloud with coffee and tea as the theme, and there is plenty of time to chat with them.

If you want to decorate more than one cup, you are welcome to do so - just bring your own extra cups.

Location: The Workshop

About the venue: Varde Bibliotek

Varde Bibliotek is the main public library of Varde Municipality, with roots going back to 1897. In 1982 it moved to its current building on Varde Torv, which is connected to the old town hall from 1872. The library offers lending, reading groups, lectures and cultural events, and in 1991 it became the first library in Jutland to open on Sundays. It also runs branches in Ølgod, Oksbøl, Nr. Nebel and Agerbæk, plus a mobile library bus.
