Graphic Design for Beginners and Intermediate: The Puzzle-Cut Method

Linocut workshop - puzzle-cut method: Saturday 17 October 2026, 10:00–16:00, BRØKs Billedværksted, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 325 kr.

Artist Delphine Flyvehavn Andersen teaches the puzzle method in linocut printing at BRØK's Art Workshop. The technique involves dividing a linoleum block into "pieces" that are printed individually on the workshop's letterpress - a method famously used by Edvard Munch.

The ticket costs 325 kr. and includes two pieces of A5 linoleum, ten sheets of A4 printing paper, and ink for ten prints. Additional materials can be purchased on the day. Linoleum knives, pencils, erasers, and pencil sharpeners are available at the workshop.

Bring a sketchbook in A4 size if you like, any sketches or photos for inspiration, and work clothes such as an apron or smock and sturdy scissors. Lunch can be brought along or purchased at BRØK's café.

Delphine Flyvehavn Andersen has a background in Painting and Graphic Art from Det Jyske Kunstakademi and Non-toxic Printmaking from Grafisk Eksperimentarium. She previously served as head of Copenhagen's Grafiske Værksted at Fabrikken for Kunst og Design and has been a co-founder and board member of Nørrebro's Grafiske Værksted since 2024.
