Albus: Grandmother's Song Games with Musikflyveren

Grandmother's Song Games with Musikflyveren: Thursday 19 November 2026, 10:00–10:45, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Admission is free.

A circle concert lasting approximately 45 minutes, where six traditional Danish song games are brought back to life - from flying like a peacock and chasing the wolf to dancing like Per Syvspring. Everyone can participate, and Musikflyveren accompanies and guides the experience.

Recordings, descriptions of the song games, and a songbook are available at https://oldemorssanglege.aarhus.dk/ (published in collaboration with the children's culture house, Aarhus Municipality).

Tickets can be booked from October 9 at 9:00 AM.

The event is part of Albus - Aarhus Libraries' festival for children's literature, held every other year. This year's theme is Time. Albus is organized by Aarhus Libraries in collaboration with Children and Youth in Aarhus Municipality and several other partners.

Venue: Scenetrappen.
