Seaweed - underwater forests and climate: Tuesday 17 November 2026, 18:00–21:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Admission is free.
Beneath the ocean's surface, seaweed forms underwater forests that play a vital role in marine life and the planet's climate. New research also suggests that seaweed can help address future challenges in health, food, climate, and the environment.
The lecture is held by Annette Bruhn, senior researcher in marine ecology at the Department of Ecoscience, Aarhus University.
Children are welcome - there are games and activities for them while you listen. Light refreshments are served at 18:00, and the lecture ends at 21:00, but you can leave whenever it suits you.
Venue: Verdensrummet
