This year's featured book for Skumringstimen is the Swedish novel "De vil drukne i deres mødres tårer" (They Will Drown in Their Mothers' Tears) by Johannes Anyuru, published in 2017. An excerpt will be read aloud during the evening.

Biblioteket Skælskør on Vestergade is a branch of Slagelse Bibliotekerne, combining a public library with citizen services. Visitors can borrow books, audiobooks and digital materials, use study spaces and computers, and renew passports or driving licences.
