In spring 2027, Caroline Henderson performs a series of duo concerts with pianist Nikolaj Hess. The two have previously collaborated on album releases and live performances, playing to full houses. On the duo format, Caroline Henderson says:

"I'm really looking forward to playing duo again and getting closer to the audience. More at eye level. More presence. More freedom. Getting to play duo with Nikolaj Hess is a gift. We're excited to pick pearls from my repertoire, find new songs and rediscover old ones.

And to not quite know in advance where the concert will end. Because that's one of the things I love about the duo format: the possibility of letting the setlist change from concert to concert. To feel the room, the audience and the mood of the evening and let that help determine what we play. That's where I think the music becomes most alive. When you dare to let go of some control and listen to each other - and to those sitting in the room. For me, it's ultimately about getting to the heart of the music. To the presence, spontaneity and the simple meeting between people through music. Hope to see you."

Caroline Henderson released the album Nectar and Ambrosia in 2025 and is active in 2026 with the musical one-woman show My Life as Her. Her career spans singing, acting on stage and in TV series, both at home and abroad.

Nikolaj Hess is an award-winning pianist, composer and internationally recognized jazz musician with roots in jazz, classical music and Scandinavian folk music.
