About
Caroline Henderson was born on 28 February 1962 in Stockholm to an African-American jazz musician father and a Swedish mother, and grew up in Philadelphia, New York and Paris before settling in Denmark in 1983. She broke through in 1989 as co-frontwoman of pop duo Ray Dee Ohh, then launched a solo career with Cinemataztic (1995), which won seven Danish Music Awards. Over the following decades she built a catalogue spanning jazz, soul and pop, and has also worked as an actress in theatre and in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla.
