Historic Songs & Mads Rykind-Eriksen
took place · 9 Oct 2026
Description was written before the event
Danish history lives in archives and textbooks, but it can also be sung forth, verse by verse. In the songs lie memories of land and people, of faith and doubt, struggle and hope, defeat and new beginnings.
When singing from the Højskole Songbook, voice is given to those who came before us, and history resonates within today's community.
Mads Rykind-Erichsen, principal of Rødding Højskole and historian, leads the evening's discussion, while the music is provided by Moesbøllerne.
