The Mind's Pantry - a lecture
Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen · Free
The Mind's Pantry - lecture on nutrition and mental health: Tuesday 27 October 2026, 19:00–21:00, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Based on her new book 'The Mind's Pantry', Kamilla Rønnestad discusses nutritional psychiatry - a rapidly evolving field. The lecture combines evidence and practical experience, showing how the food we eat can affect our mental health, for better or worse. According to Rønnestad, this knowledge deserves more attention in public debate, especially at a time when mental distress and psychological disorders are increasing.
Kamilla Rønnestad (born 1990) is trained in nutrition and health with a particular focus on the connection between food and mental wellbeing. She works as a food and society writer and has led several projects on food's role in combating depression. She is also co-author of 'Food and Maternal Care' (2023).
The lecture takes place in 'Toves Room' in the adult library on the ground floor. See also the other events in the 'Wild About Science' series.
