1000Fryd presents Sadness. The project is led by Mexican-American artist Damián Antón Ojeda, who creates blackgaze and DSBM infused with shoegaze, post-metal, and emo.

About: Sadness

The man behind Sadness, Damián Antón Ojeda, has spent a decade crafting a melancholic mix of black metal and shoegaze that built a devoted following despite starting out as a deeply private bedroom project. After ten years purely in the studio, the act finally took to a stage in 2024 and now tours as a full live band based out of Baltimore.
