Özlem Cekic and Jair Melchior in conversation about the value of communities and hope
Hovedbiblioteket, Viborg · Free
Özlem Cekic and Jair Melchior in conversation: Thursday 5 November 2026, 19:00–21:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Viborg. Admission is free.
What holds us together when the world around us becomes uncertain? And what does community, hope and faith mean when we are challenged?
As the conclusion to Preparedness Day at Hovedbiblioteket in Viborg, Özlem Cekic and Jair Melchior meet for a conversation moderated by Bishop Henrik Stubkjær. The starting point is human and spiritual preparedness: preparedness is not just about water, canned food and a flashlight, but also about what we have between us - our communities, our hope and our ability to be there for each other when life becomes difficult or the world changes.
The conversation makes room for both faith and doubt, hope and worry, and for different views on what gives us strength as individuals and as a community. The focus shifts from practical preparedness to what may be equally important: people, community and hope.
Entry is free, but registration is required. The event takes place in the room Skakbrættet.
