Spil Dansk: Moster Zilettes BørneSwing - Family Concert

Moster Zilettes BørneSwing - Family Concert: Saturday 31 October 2026, 12:00–14:00, Gnisten Ry, Ry. Tickets cost 50 kr.

Bring the family for a morning of swing jazz, quirky stories and musical play when Moster Zilettes BørneJazz takes the stage at Gnisten. The universe is filled with fabled creatures and odd tales, and the songs will get feet tapping and imaginations soaring. The music draws on swing jazz but also ventures into blues, bossa and country - performed by a live band without computer sounds or samples.

Along the way, the audience meets funny fabled creatures and eccentric characters that invite laughter, recognition and perhaps a little dancing. The concert is created for children in kindergarten and early school years, but adults will find plenty to listen to as well - it is music that takes children seriously, without forgetting that it should be fun.

Behind the project is singer Lizette Flannov together with a team of experienced jazz musicians on guitar, banjo, piano, Hammond organ, harmonica, saxophone, double bass and drums. Composer and children's musician Sigurd Barrett has called the album "a refreshing and sympathetic breath in the right direction" and highlights the catchy and imaginative songs.

The concert takes place with standing room on a first-come, first-served basis, but children and young at heart can sit on the floor, where cushions are provided. If you need help getting in due to a disability, you can contact Gnisten in advance.
