Silent Book Club

Silent Book Club - quiet reading event: 31 October – 28 November 2026, Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Vesterbro Library hosts Silent Book Club this season: an English-language reading group where you don't need to have read anything specific beforehand. Bring the book you're currently reading, grab a cup of coffee at the library, and spend time reading in silence with others.

The meeting is structured in phases: the first 15 minutes are for settling in and telling each other what you're reading. Then comes 45 minutes of uninterrupted, quiet reading, followed by 10 minutes for free journaling. At the end, there's space to share book recommendations or chat a bit more if you'd like.

The club meets in the fiction room on the ground floor, in the large room to the left. No registration is required to participate.

Location: The fiction room in the adult library on the ground floor.
