Books of the Year - Gjern

Books of the Year - librarians' picks: Tuesday 12 January 2027, 19:00–21:00, Gjern Bibliotek, Gjern. Tickets cost 95 kr.

What themes have shaped the books of 2026, and where can you find inspiration for your next read?

Silkeborg Libraries' reading enthusiasts Frederik, Anne and Britt have worked their way through a large selection of this year's newest releases and offer their personal recommendations. They present the books that have captivated them and explain why they are worth reading.

Most are literary fiction novels, but there will also be room for essays, poetry and non-fiction. Along the way there is a break with coffee and cake.

Venue: Gjern Library.
