Words That Travel - multilingual readings: 15 November – 21 February 2026, BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

Stories are read aloud from books in many different languages, and you'll discover narratives, sounds, and scripts - from Urdu to Arabic, Korean, Spanish, and more. Your own heart language might be among them. There's room for curiosity and exchange, and after the reading you can take part in a creative activity.

This is the first in a series of readings organized by Biblioteket and the association NUBIM with support from Nordea Fonden.

About the venue: BIBLIOTEKET Rentemestervej

BIBLIOTEKET on Rentemestervej opened in 2011 as Denmark's first fully integrated library and cultural centre. Designed by COBE, Transform and Brd. Andersen, the building is instantly recognisable by its four offset golden boxes, shaped like a stack of books - a landmark in the Nordvest district. Under one roof it brings together children's, youth and adult libraries, creative workshops, a flexible theatre hall, citizens' services and a café. The programme spans concerts, theatre, film screenings and literary events for all ages.
