Star Show November 2026
Ole Rømer Observatoriet, Aarhus · 35–95 kr. · ≈ 4.7–13 €
Star Show at Ole Rømer Observatory: 2 November – 30 November 2026, Ole Rømer Observatoriet, Aarhus. Tickets cost 35–95 kr.
Through the observatory's telescope - Denmark's largest functioning one - we observe the night sky visible on the evening, with the stars and planets currently visible. It might be a look at the Moon's craters, a zoom into Saturn's rings, or a glimpse of a distant galaxy.
The show takes place regardless of weather. If the sky is cloudy, we instead explore the observatory's nooks and crannies, telling stories about life in the Universe, current space travel, and the observatory's history, while showing images from the great space telescopes. The programme is tailored to the group that comes.
Bring questions for the presenter, and dress warmly - it's not fun to watch stars if you're freezing. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate can be purchased on site, but outside food is not allowed.
The show lasts around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and everyone is welcome.
