Simi Talks with Jacob Kaarsbo

Simi Talks with Jacob Kaarsbo: Thursday 5 November 2026, 18:30–21:00, Klub, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 245 kr.

Simi Talks is now available as a live, in-person event in Copenhagen. The concept invites conversation about the state of the world - in comfortable sofas, with a drink in hand and time to make the complex understandable. The format is informal, with room for questions from the audience.

This evening's guest is Jacob Kaarsbo, former chief analyst at the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. Over the course of an hour and a half, the discussion zooms in on the big picture, from Iran to Ukraine and the USA: what is at stake, where is the world heading, and how should we understand it all? Questions from the audience help shape the direction of the conversation.

The ticket includes a glass of wine, beer, or water. This is the first time Simi Talks is being experienced in person - normally it is broadcast live on Instagram, with longer excerpts later on YouTube, where you can see previous guests' perspectives on the state of the world.
