International Stammering Day debate: Thursday 22 October 2026, 19:00–21:30, LiteraturHaus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

On the occasion of International Stammering Day, LiteraturHaus hosts a debate evening about stammering - and about identity, shame, courage, and the perceptions that come with speaking differently.

About the venue: LiteraturHaus

LiteraturHaus opened in 2005 inside the former Bethania Kirke, a Methodist church from 1892 on Nørrebro - making it Scandinavia's first literary house. The programme runs from author evenings, poetry readings and lectures to concerts and cross-disciplinary performances. The main hall seats 150 and the café 50; both spaces are available for hire for cultural and private events.
