Legedalen - Become Friends with Nature

Children aged 3-8 and their adults are welcome to the exhibition 'Legedalen - Become Friends with Nature' at the Children's Library. The exhibition presents nature from the city, parks and everyday life - with a touch of magic - and is set at child height, leaving room for both play and exploration.

Along the way, you can examine an old oak tree with animals and fungi, go fishing at the pond and sort insects, frogs and waste from the water. At the digital flower meadow, you can colour a flower, scan it in and see which butterflies, bees and insects visit it.

The senses are actively used throughout the exhibition: you can put on butterfly wings at the flower meadow or meet the fox and hedgehog in the darkness of night. If you need a break, there is a reading corner with picture books about nature.

Legedalen was developed by Experimentarium in collaboration with Friluftsrådet, Danmarks Naturfredningsforening and Bibliotekernes Temasamarbejde, and is supported by the Nordea Foundation as part of the project 'Friends with Nature'.
