Slinger I Valsen

Slinger I Valsen - physical theatre performance: Friday 22 January 2027, 19:30–21:00, Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, Holstebro. Tickets cost 60–150 kr.

Slinger I Valsen is a physical and humorous performance where silent film's classic duo meets Quentin Tarantino's vibrant universe. The result blends slapstick, action, and raw authenticity, exploring friendship, anger, and love.

DON and GNU begin a waltz, but they cannot find the rhythm. As emotions take over, the dance becomes a fight, with duels unfolding in every movement, and no one can be sure who will win. In the midst of it all, a mysterious stranger appears - both a modern hero and an unpredictable villain. This turns the familiar universe upside down.

The performance draws inspiration from silent film's aesthetics and rhythm, asking whether our modern, color-saturated world is becoming too rigid. Can we find hope and connection again in the imperfect, raw, and unpredictable?

Slinger I Valsen comes to Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium as a guest performance on the Danish tour.
