BAMSEHOSPITALET visits Svenstrup Library

BAMSEHOSPITALET - children's teddy bear hospital: Saturday 17 October 2026, 09:30–12:30, Svenstrup Bibliotek, Svenstrup J.

First you meet the nurse who receives your teddy bear. A medical record is written, and the bear is measured, weighed and listened to so it can be determined what is wrong and what treatment is needed.

If necessary, Bamsehospitalet can also take an X-ray, so you and the radiologist can see what is wrong with the bear inside.

Finally, the Bear Doctor makes a treatment plan with you. The bear may need stitches, a bandage, a plaster or medicine from a syringe. And so cuddles, bedtime stories and hugs are a permanent part of the bear's further care.
