Game On: Dungeons & Dragons one-shot: Monday 16 November 2026, 16:00–22:00, Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Admission is free.
Are you between 18 and 35 years old and either a D&D fan or curious to try it for the first time? Then you could be one of the heroes Saga needs.
A dynasty has an iron grip on the civilized world, but a secret rebel faction has traced the resource that makes the dynasty nearly unstoppable as a political and magical power. If they can cut off the dynasty's access to it, the tide of war could turn - and fate rests with the players at the table.
Three different D&D one-shots will be played in BRØK's own world, Saga, with five players per evening. Each night is a standalone adventure, but all require players to use each other's imagination, courage, and abilities to succeed.
You don't need to be an expert in Dungeons & Dragons. It helps to have played before, but what matters more is the desire to play and understand that D&D is as much about having fun with the people at the table as it is about the game itself. D&D is improvised tabletop roleplay, and a great evening doesn't necessarily happen when one player creates the wildest build - but when you give each other space, play each other well, and share the spotlight.
The evening's game master is Niclas Fruergaard from BRØK, a trained dramaturg, improv theatre instructor, and experienced roleplayer who will soon release the podcast series Eventyvene. He knows the rules well, but emphasizes a playstyle where everyone feels ownership and team spirit, and where the shared experience matters more than tactical optimization. Rules are followed, but flow and the "rule of cool" are prioritized over constant handbook lookups.
D&D 5.5e will be played with characters at level 5. You can choose a pre-made character, or contact Niclas beforehand if you have an idea for your own.
The event is free, but feel free to bring snacks to share. There are only five spots per evening, and registration is binding - you must be able to participate the entire evening. We meet at 16:00, and play with flexible end time towards 22:00, so bring food for yourself as well. Snacks are available, and you don't need
