Open stand area - drop by!

Open stand area at Dokk1: Wednesday 14 October 2026, 11:00–16:00, Hovedbiblioteket, Aarhus. Admission is free.

On Wednesday during the autumn break, Dokk1 hosts talks, activities and conversations about emergency preparedness.

The stand area is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Here you can meet the Home Guard, Borgerberedskabet.dk, Save the Children, Sager der samler, Børns Vilkår, En hemmelig klub, Danish Disability Organizations Aarhus, the Heart Association, Folk & Sikkerhed, the Repair Consortium, a network of tech-critical Aarhus residents and the Danish First Aid Council.

The event is part of the theme day "Together on preparedness", which the library organizes together with DR, the Danish Folk Education Council and Østifterne. Some activities require a free ticket, so keep an eye on the programme, which is continuously published on aakb.dk and on Facebook.

It takes place on Torvet, indoors at Dokk1. Information about accessibility, parking and more can be found at https://dokk1.dk/planlaeg-dit-besoeg
