Wild Play with the Littlest Ones

Wild Play with the Littlest Ones - baby massage: Friday 4 December 2026, 10:30–11:30, Tingbjerg Bibliotek\Kulturhus, Copenhagen. Tickets cost 25 kr.

Postnatal workshop focusing on movement and sensory stimulation for babies.

Physiotherapist Marianne Mogensen demonstrates games that stimulate the baby's senses, balance and motor skills - including somersaults, spinning, rolling and ball play. The workshop concludes with simple baby massage, and the final minutes cover first aid techniques for foreign objects in the airways of babies aged 0-12 months.

The workshop is for (grand)parents with children aged 4-12 months, and pregnant women are also welcome - please bring a doll or teddy bear if you wish. Remember to bring a soft mat for your baby. After the session, notes will be sent by email to participants.

The instruction is in Danish, but questions in English are welcome, and everyone can participate. The workshop takes place in the Hall on the ground floor. If you're hungry, you can buy a homemade bun from Café Mors Varme Hænder from 10:00, or stay for lunch from 12:00.

Instructor: authorised physiotherapist and first aid instructor Marianne Mogensen, author of the book "After Birth - Training and Baby Play". Read more at www.denfriefys.dk.
