From Kyiv to Køge: Young Voices from Europe's Democratic Frontlines

Young Voices from Europe's Democratic Frontlines: Thursday 22 October 2026, 17:00–18:30, Køge Bibliotek, Køge.

Democracy and peace in Europe are under pressure: antidemocratic forces are gaining ground, Russia poses a threat, and civil society faces tighter constraints.

Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke visits Køge Library this evening with a group of young people from Ukraine, Moldova, Bosnia, and Georgia, who share their perspectives on the situation from Europe's democratic frontlines. Drawing on their experiences, the discussion explores what role young people and grassroots movements can play across borders to secure democracy's future.

The event takes place in the study area at Køge Library and is open to young people and adults. Photos and video will be taken during the event.
