A Toast to Benny Andersen

A Toast to Benny Andersen: Thursday 5 November 2026, 17:00–18:00, Greve Bibliotek, Greve. Tickets cost 30 kr.

Greve Library launches a new season of 'A Toast to the Great Danes' with Benny Andersen - perhaps the most beloved of all Danish writers, with a literary craft that is both accessible and profound.

Benny Andersen was a poet who could capture life's smallest and most important moments in words. Words that bridge the trivial and the sensational, which we forget in everyday life but remember when it matters - and quote when we give speeches.

The library raises a glass to Benny Andersen.
