Mad Heads Vadym Krasnooky

Mad Heads with Vadym Krasnooky: Monday 2 November 2026, 19:00–22:00, Café Mellemfolk, Aarhus. Tickets cost 70 kr.

Mad Heads was founded in Kyiv, Ukraine, by Vadym Krasnooky. The band quickly gained a reputation in the psychobilly scene across Eastern Europe and beyond, and over the years has recorded four studio albums, appeared on television, and toured extensively.

Their debut album "Psycholula" was released in 1996 on the German label Crazy Love Records - at that time the band was already well-known in Ukraine. It was followed by "Mad In Ukraine" in 1998 and "Naked Flame" in 2002, both also released on Crazy Love Records, and these albums cemented Mad Heads' position in the psychobilly scene.

After their debut, the band began touring abroad. They have played four times at Rock'n'Roll Jamboree in Finland and three times at Calella Psychobilly Meeting in Spain, and have also performed at festivals and venues in Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Poland, and Italy.
