LYDKORT - A Sound Workshop for Children from 6 Years and Their Families

LYDKORT - Sound Workshop for Children and Families: Thursday 22 October 2026, 16:00–18:00, Energicenter voldparken - Fysiklokalet, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

LYDKORT is a playful sound workshop for children from 6 years old and their families, with hearing and listening at the centre.

The workshop asks: what does a home sound like? Is it voices from the kitchen, birds outside, a ball bouncing on asphalt, the bus passing by - or something entirely different that only you notice? Participants explore the moods and stories that create a sense of belonging, and together create their own sound map of home and homeliness - made up of rhythms, music, everyday sounds, voices and small stories. We listen, record and experiment, and finally it all comes together in new and surprising ways. No musical experience is necessary, only the desire to listen, play and participate.

The workshop takes place in the "Physics Room" at Energicenter Voldparken and is created by Monster Teater in collaboration with composer and music educator Tin Soheili.

Afterwards, there is an opportunity to eat at FOLK & MAD, which holds a communal meal in Husum right after the workshop. Meal tickets can be purchased here: https://billet.to/1978433-frie...
