Kulturstedet Lindegaarden, Kgs. Lyngby

Tickets cost 150 kr. Members of the friends association pay 75 kr.
Mazel plays klezmer, and the repertoire is broad: symphonic works, jazz standards, film music, songs about life in old Eastern Europe, Jewish vaudeville and cabaret, original compositions and above all a large amount of traditional festive music.
The Yiddish word mazel originally means luck and fortune. The band was formed in 1998 and has since played many concerts both at home and abroad, where it has interpreted and conveyed the Jewish folk music known as klezmer.
The programme is varied and original and takes the listener through the musical culture of the Jewish people. It spans 200 years of music history from three different continents.
