Carsten Dahl - Piano. Lindegård Concert

Carsten Dahl - Piano Solo Concert: Friday 30 April 2027, 19:30–21:30, Kulturstedet Lindegaarden, Kgs. Lyngby.

Pianist and composer Carsten Dahl performs a solo concert at Lindegården. Here improvisation, virtuosity, and musical imagination meet.

For four decades, Carsten Dahl has been one of Europe's most original and versatile pianists. His expression spans from jazz and free improvisation to classical music and his own compositions, and it is personal enough to break both genres and traditions. He has received the Danish DMA Jazz Prize for his solo recordings and is also recognized for his larger classical works.

At the concert, he explores the piano's possibilities through spontaneous improvisation. The music emerges on the spot and moves freely between the poetic, the virtuosic, and the unpredictable. Carsten Dahl is considered one of his generation's most distinctive musicians.
