Film critic and avid reader Ann Lind Andersen opens the evening with a talk about book adaptations to film - what makes a good adaptation, and which examples exist of successful and less fortunate attempts? Afterwards, an excerpt from "Nøjsomheden" is read aloud, so you can compare the book's and film's opening.

After a break with a glass of sparkling wine - an alcohol-free alternative is available - we watch the film in full. It is directed by Hella Joof and stars Andrea Gadebjerg Heick, Clint Ruben, Iben Hjejle, Maria Rossing, Ulrich Thomsen and Lotte Andersen.
