Friendships for Adults

Greve Library hosts a lecture and discussion about friendships, loneliness, and the relationship to literature and culture - focusing on the question: why is it so difficult to make friends in midlife, and what can you do to build new relationships?

Author and researcher Marie-Elisabeth Lei Pihl presents her new book "Friendship from Aristotle to Snapchat", which explores friendship from psychological, sociological, and cultural-historical perspectives. She also draws on examples from her own life, and the discussion examines how friendship can be understood and practiced throughout life.
