Baby Café: Baby and Sleep - Talk with Berit Andersen
Rytterskolen, Copenhagen · 60 kr. · ≈ 8 €
Sleep is a major concern when there are small children in the house. Can a nap become too long? Is it normal for a child to wake every other hour? What do you do when it takes three hours to fall asleep? Sleep deprivation affects not only daily life but also the child's development and wellbeing.
Family therapist Berit Andersen has developed a special interest in children's sleep through her work. She is a trained social worker and Marte Meo therapist with many years of experience advising children and parents. Her approach is gentle and attachment-based, grounded in the child's overall needs and wellbeing.
The talk provides practical tools to prevent sleep challenges in young children. If you have an older child struggling with sleep, you'll also get inspiration on how to support older siblings during the period when sleep often becomes extra vulnerable after the family welcomes a new baby.
