Learn to throw pottery. 6-week throwing course with Tina Marie Bentsen

This course is for anyone interested in working practically with ceramics - no prior experience required, but patience and commitment to practice are essential. Teaching alternates between group demonstrations and individual guidance, covering fundamental throwing and trimming techniques, different glazing approaches, and material knowledge, tools, and workshop safety.

The instructor is Tina Marie Bentsen, a graduate of Designskolen Kolding (2005). She runs her own studio and shop at Vesterbrogade 175 and has previously taught at Keramikskolen on Østerbro and Glas og Keramikskolen on Bornholm. In her practice, she works with both functional ware and stoneware pieces, focusing on the interplay between form, proportions, and the colours and textures of glazes.

The course takes place in the ceramic studios at Vesterbro Bibliotek og Kulturhus.
