K21 Portrait
Vera Byma, Copenhagen · Free
K21 Portrait is about studying the human face and figure through drawing and painting. Pencil, brush, and watercolor are all used - the choice of technique depends on the time available in each session.
Work is organized around the sitting times agreed with the models. Shorter sessions work best for drawing, while painting typically requires longer sessions. The group currently works in smaller teams, and it is normal to switch roles so participants also model for each other. This provides freedom to vary poses and expressions and creates space to experiment.
The aim is to strengthen skills through regular practice and shared feedback. All levels are welcome, and the displayed works give a realistic picture of what the group is working towards.
