Learn Ceramic Wheel Throwing - 10-Week Course with Marianne Krumbach

This beginner course is for anyone new to ceramic wheel throwing or looking to strengthen basic techniques. The course starts with centering and pulling up to a cylinder, then moves on to throwing simple forms, trimming, attaching handles, and glazing. You'll also get an introduction to relevant stoneware tools and equipment. Each session ends with thorough cleaning, and participants are expected to help tidy the ceramic studios alongside other users.

Your instructor is Marianne Krumbach, a graduate of the Design School in Kolding who works from her studio in Copenhagen NW. In recent years her work has focused on modeled nature-inspired sculptural objects, but also periodically on thrown projects. She has exhibited both in Denmark and abroad.
