Stop Motion Film - Course for Children and Young People — Kulturstationen Vanløse, Copenhagen

Children and young people learn the craft of stop motion filmmaking from the ground up: from initial sketches to a finished short film with sound and visuals. Participants design and model their own characters, build sets, and construct visual worlds. The course culminates in a group film screening and exhibition.

The instruction is led by art teachers and artists from the association NUBIM. The course is open to all levels - both complete beginners and those with experience in animation or film production.

Classes take place every Thursday from 4 to 6 PM and run for 12 sessions from September 3 to November 26 (weeks 36-48). Note: there is no class on October 15 during the autumn break (week 42). The course fee is 1,250 kr. and materials are included.
